Singer Kailash Kher recently made headlines for refusing to sing on demand at an awards show, sparking a heated debate about the dignity of artists.

At the seventh edition of Six Sigma Leadership Summit in Healthcare, held at Taj Palace, Delhi, the host asked Kailash to sing a few lines, but he firmly refused, delivering a powerful message about respecting musicians and their craft.

Kailash's response was met with mixed reactions online, with some agreeing with his sentiments and others criticizing his remarks.

The singer, known for his hit tracks like Allah Ke Bande, Ya Rabba, and Kaun Hain Voh, emphasized that artists should not be treated like clowns or reduced to mere entertainment.

He compared the situation to asking a sports star like Sachin Tendulkar to hit a six on the spot or asking a soldier to take a position and fire a shot, highlighting the importance of respecting the artist's craft and dignity.
