Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay held his first public rally in Tiruchirappalli, thanking people for choosing Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam and ending the DMK-AIADMK duopoly.
He took a jibe at opponents, saying they couldn't stay silent for six days, despite promising to observe for six months.
Vijay said his victory was a rejection of traditional power dynamics, with people choosing him as their 'first servant.'
He secured 108 seats in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, forming the government, and won both constituencies he contested in.
Vijay resigned from his seat in Tiruchirappalli East and will continue as MLA for Chennai Perambur constituency.
