Bejoy Nambiar's survival thriller Tu Yaa Main, starring Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor, has found a new home on Netflix. The film, which received mixed reviews and failed to perform well at the box office, will be available to stream on the platform from April 10.
Director Bejoy Nambiar expressed his excitement about the film's global release on Netflix, saying, 'Tu Yaa Main was always about creating something visceral and unpredictable. We wanted audiences to feel the tension as it unfolds.'
Tu Yaa Main marked Shanaya Kapoor's second theatrical release, following her debut film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. The film tells the story of Avani, a popular social media content creator, and Maruti, an aspiring rapper, who get stranded in a small hotel and their lives spiral out of control.
The film collected ₹7.31 crore at the domestic box office and received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. With its release on Netflix, the film is expected to reach a wider audience.
