Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown, who appeared in 79 episodes of the show from 2014 to 2019, has been found dead at 43. His brother Bear Brown confirmed that authorities have identified the body discovered in the Okanogan River as Matt's.
Bear had expressed concerns earlier in the week that Matt may have taken his own life, following a YouTube livestream in which Matt appeared nude, spoke incoherently, and was seen holding a firearm.
The official cause of death is still pending until the coroner finishes the examination, but Bear suspects it may have been self-inflicted.
Emergency services were alerted after a 911 caller observed a man in the river, and search teams were dispatched, but hazardous river conditions initially halted operations until Brown's body was recovered.
