A second-alarm brush fire, known as the Hazen Fire, has broken out in Buckeye, Maricopa County, Arizona, and has since grown to 275 acres.

Smoke from the blaze has been reported across parts of Goodyear, Avondale, Glendale, and the Phoenix area.

State Route 85 near Buckeye has been shut down due to the fire's westward spread, with the Arizona Department of Transportation advising motorists to expect delays and seek alternate routes.

No evacuations have been issued, but Arizona Public Service has de-energized power lines in the area as a precautionary safety measure.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
