A flash flood warning continued for Atlanta, Druid Hills, and Emory in Georgia, as per the National Weather Service. The advisory on Wednesday noted that the warning would continue till 11:15pm EDT.

Chilling videos of the flood emerged, showing several cars stuck as water levels rose. Local journalists shared clips of the situation, with one describing the scene as 'wild stuff' on the Connector in Atlanta.

Traffic was hit due to the flash floods downtown, with a video showing the situation in Atlanta. Fox 5 Atlanta reported that crews had successfully reopened all northbound lanes of the Downtown Connector at the Baker Street overpass.

Reactions poured in on social media, with some people commenting that several parts of the city remained dry. A local reporter shared a statement from the City of Atlanta, which read that the Administration was aware of flooding occurring across parts of the city and was actively monitoring conditions and responding to affected areas.
