A 21-year-old woman lost her life while bungee jumping in Brazil after the crew allegedly 'forgot' to attach the safety rope. A video of the incident has surfaced, showing the crew carrying the woman to the edge of the Skeleton Bridge before hurling her over, with the safety rope left on the floor.

The woman, identified as Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas, was thrown at least 130 feet from above, according to reports. Emergency services were called, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

At least six people were arrested in connection with the incident, and the civil police will probe the matter further to determine whether any criminal charges can be brought against the accused.

The company responsible for conducting the activity, 'Entre Cordas', had been charging £26.50 for people to bungee jump from the bridge, with five other dates advertised for the coming months.
