Controversial online figure Charleston White has been involved in a heated feud with Karmelo Anthony's father, Drew. White had initially pledged $75,000 to help Anthony appeal his first-degree murder conviction, but later withdrew his support after clashing with Drew.
According to social media posts, White sent a threatening text to Anthony's father, stating that he would make sure his son catches 'hell in prison.' The text also included a racial slur and accused Anthony's father of being 'soft' for focusing on personal funds from a GiveSendGo campaign.
White had previously suggested that he had been paid off to support Anthony and that he would rather support Jeff Metcalf, the father of Austin Metcalf, who was killed by Anthony in 2025. Anthony was sentenced to 35 years in prison for the murder, which took place during a rain delay at a high school track meet.
