Ciera Locklair Breland, a 31-year-old mother, vanished without a trace from Johns Creek, Georgia, on February 24, 2022. Her husband, Xavier Breland, filed a missing person report four days later, claiming she left their home without her phone, keys, or their infant son. However, investigators and Ciera's family have raised suspicions about Xavier's story.
Xavier has a history of criminal activity, including a conviction for felony burglary in 2005 and an unrelated charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon in 2024. He was also accused of placing a tracker inside a stuffed animal to monitor his ex-wife during a custody dispute.
Ciera's family believes she was planning to leave Xavier before her disappearance. They claim she had been saving money in a secret bank account and was planning to temporarily move back in with her parents. A Facebook group, 'Where is Ciera (Locklair) Breland,' has been raising awareness about the case, with many speculating that Xavier may have been involved in her disappearance.
Law enforcement has distributed flyers and utilized electronic signs to heighten public awareness. A $10,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to Ciera's whereabouts. If you have any information, please contact the Johns Creek Police Department or the FBI.
