Update: A wildfire near Sedona Hills neighborhood in Loveland, Colorado, has been fully contained as of 10 p.m. local time Monday. The fire, which broke out near the 2600 block of Sedona Hills Drive, had been mapped at 12.2 acres. Mandatory evacuation orders have been lifted, with a voluntary evacuation order for residents between 2707-2367 Sedona Hills Drive also lifted.
A joint effort by multiple fire departments and emergency services, including Loveland Fire Rescue Authority, Berthoud Fire, and the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention & Control, helped contain the fire. Crews will remain on the scene overnight to monitor hot spots.
The fire was first reported just before 3 p.m. and had grown to an estimated 10 acres by 4 p.m. A third-alarm response and aerial firefighting support were requested to assist crews battling the fire.
