A former Pima County SWAT commander has suggested a nearby location that should be considered by investigators in the search for Nancy Guthrie. Bob Krygier, who was asked about the Tohono O'odham Nation Reservation, believes it's a crucial area to investigate due to its proximity to the Mexico border.

Krygier explained that part of the reservation runs into Mexico and that there are several options to get over the border in both directions. He noted that the relationship between the reservation and local authorities is good, but deputies typically don't patrol the reservation as they don't have the federal enforcement powers to fully operate there.

Although Krygier didn't indicate that the reservation is connected to Nancy's disappearance, he emphasized that its location and access routes make it an area worth considering.
