Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner is facing another controversy after reports alleged he kept an active profile on Kik, a messaging service with safety issues.
The profile photo shows Platner shirtless, wearing only a towel, with numerous tattoos visible, including one associated with Nazi symbolism.
Platner reportedly told media outlets he had deleted the Kik application, but it appears he had not deleted the account itself.
Kik has been at the center of pedophilia scandals, with 60% of its 15 million monthly active users aged 13 to 24, according to Forbes.
The controversy surfaced alongside allegations that Platner exchanged sexually explicit messages with multiple women during his marriage.
