In a major update on the US-Iran conflict, both parties and mediator Pakistan confirmed a deal to end hostilities has been agreed upon. The peace deal will be signed in Switzerland on Friday, June 19.

Iran's state media is touting it as a victory of the Islamic Republic, with officials confirming that a memorandum of understanding has been finalized.

Iran's state-owned TV channels showed narratives of victory over the US and Israel, with the Young Journalists Club describing the deal as a victory that forced the 'American-Zionist enemy to end the war on all fronts.'

Iran halted negotiations after an attack in Beirut, but several last-minute concessions from Trump made Iran continue the talks.

After the deal, Trump announced that the Strait of Hormuz will reopen after the deal is signed on June 19.

Iranian Officials Confirm Details Of Deal, with deputy foreign minister Kazem Gharibabadi confirming that a memorandum for a peace deal has been finalized between the US and Iran.

Gharibabadi stated that two issues will take effect immediately: a permanent end to the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, and the lifting of the US-imposed naval blockade.
