Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian has denied reports of his resignation, citing a takeover by the IRGC, amid ongoing ceasefire negotiations with the US.

The claims were made by Iran International, but the government has refuted them, calling the report 'false' and part of 'media games'.

Iran's Presidential Office Deputy Head of Communications Mehdi Tabatabaei wrote that the report was 'manufactured to manipulate the narrative around the US-Iran talks.'

Meanwhile, IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency reported that Masoud Pezeshkian remains in his role as President and has not resigned.
