Rapper Kid Cudi has removed British artist M.I.A. from his tour following her remarks about immigration during the Rebel Ragers Tour.
M.I.A. made the comments while performing as an opening act, saying she's been 'canceled for many reasons' including being a 'brown Republican voter.'
She also stated, 'We can't perform [my song] Illegal, though some of you could be in the audience,' which led to a crowd reaction and further comments from M.I.A.
Kid Cudi addressed the situation in a statement, saying M.I.A. is no longer on the tour due to her 'offensive remarks' that upset his fanbase.
M.I.A. defended herself, stating she was referencing her song 'illygal' and her team's visa issues, and that she's been fighting for immigrant rights for years.
