Las Vegas Grocery Store Shooting: Bystanders Tackle Armed Suspect

Two people were killed in a shooting inside a Las Vegas grocery store on Tuesday morning. The incident ended with bystanders physically restraining the suspected shooter before police arrived.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the shooting, which occurred in the 9700 block of South Maryland Parkway, near Silverado Ranch Boulevard.

According to witness accounts, the shooting unfolded suddenly inside the store during a routine shopping period. Several customers stepped in during the chaos and physically confronted the suspect as he tried to leave the scene.

Bystanders managed to knock the weapon from the suspect's hand before wrestling him to the ground and holding him until police arrived.

The motive behind the shooting remains under investigation, and the identity of the suspect and the victims has not been released.
