Three countries, China, Japan, and Indonesia, were hit by massive earthquakes on Tuesday, causing damage and injuries in some areas.
The highest magnitude of 6.7 was recorded in Indonesia's Sulawesi island, followed by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake in China's Qinghai province, and a 5.5 magnitude tremor near Japan's east coast.
At least one person was killed in China, and eight people were injured in Indonesia, while no casualties were reported in Japan.
Heavy damage was reported in Indonesia, where roofs collapsed, walls shattered, and debris was spread on the streets.
Aftershocks followed in all three countries, with the strongest being 5.2 magnitude in Indonesia and 4.9 magnitude in China.
The earthquakes came years after Indonesia's 2018 tragedy, which killed over 4,000 people.
