The Middle East's conflicts, which have ravaged the region over the past three years, are technically in ceasefire, but in reality, fighting persists in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran.

In Gaza, Israel continues to target Hamas militants and push back against efforts to rebuild the U.S.-designated terrorist group, despite an eight-month ceasefire.

Since the ceasefire took effect, hundreds of Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes, and Gaza's humanitarian crisis remains severe, with much of the population dependent on aid and lacking adequate shelter and sanitation.

In Lebanon, fighting between Israel and Hezbollah has intensified, with Hezbollah launching attacks on Israeli military positions and northern Israeli communities using explosive drones.

More than 3,000 people have been killed in Lebanon since March, and over one million have been displaced, with Israeli forces creating a buffer zone along the border.

Iran and the U.S. have also clashed in the Strait of Hormuz, exchanging drone and missile fire, despite a two-month ceasefire.

Both sides are pursuing negotiations to secure maritime access and create space for broader talks on sanctions and Iran's nuclear program.
