Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu said the Iran-US war is far from over, citing the need to remove enriched uranium from Iran.
Speaking in an interview with CBS, Netanyahu stated that while the war has accomplished a great deal, there is still much work to be done, including dismantling enrichment sites, removing proxies, and eliminating ballistic missiles.
When asked how the enriched uranium would be removed, Netanyahu responded, 'You go in, and you take it out.'
However, he refused to share military plans or a timeline for the operation, describing it as a 'terrifically important mission.'
The remarks came amid stalled peace talks between the US and Iran, with President Trump calling Tehran's response to the US' peace proposal 'totally unacceptable.'
Netanyahu also addressed the threat posed by Hezbollah in Lebanon, stating that Iran wants a ceasefire in Lebanon to allow the militant group to continue its activities.
He added that if the Iranian regime is weakened or toppled, it would likely lead to the collapse of the terrorist proxy network that Iran has built.
