Multiple road closures have been reported, with drivers facing heavy traffic delays and emergency response activity. The Long Island Expressway has been closed in both directions at the Cross Island Parkway, while the eastbound Grand Central Parkway has been shut approaching the Van Wyck Expressway. The Van Wyck Expressway has also been closed in both directions near Jewel Avenue.
