Singer Oliver Tree's tragic helicopter collision in Rio de Janeiro has sparked a bizarre conspiracy theory among fans.

Tree, who was on a helicopter with four others, including the pilot, collided with another helicopter and crashed in an EV parking lot, resulting in the deaths of six people.

The news of his death was first reported by CNN Brasil, but some fans believe he faked his own death due to his eccentric personality and a long-standing dispute with his record label, Atlantic Records.

Tree had previously faked his death multiple times as part of his marketing strategy, and conspiracy theorists pointed to this as evidence that he may have done it again.

However, officials identified Tree's body using dental remains and DNA testing, and the theory has been widely debunked.
