A federal court in California has sentenced Jashanpreet Singh, the 27-year-old founder of the Hells Angels-affiliated 'Punjabi Devils,' to 64 months in prison for illegally dealing in firearms and possessing a machine gun.
Singh pleaded guilty to the charges earlier this year and attempted to sell several illegal weapons to an undercover officer before skipping court and booking a one-way flight to India.
He was arrested at the San Francisco International Airport by the FBI after being tipped off by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Singh's case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative aimed at combating transnational criminal organizations and protecting communities from violent crime.
