Several people in San Antonio, Texas were left without power on Friday as storms brought heavy rain and lightning in Bexar County. CPS Energy reported that 39,967 customers were impacted and 55 outages were recorded.

CPS Energy's customer service centers are closed over the weekend and were also shut on Friday due to Juneteenth. Customers can report emergencies by calling 210-353-4357 or 1-800-870-1006, or access online services via Manage My Account (MMA) or http://cpsenergy.com.

Heavy rain is impacting Hill Country and northern edge of Bexar County, with a flood advisory in place till 3:30am, Saturday. Residents are advised to turn around if they come across flooded roads.

Many people in San Antonio have taken to social media to share their experiences and photos of the power outages. Some have offered prayers for the linemen working to restore power, while others have shared updates on areas without power.
