A 43-year-old Texas man, Jose Romero, has been charged with murder after fatally shooting his wife, Yanira Marin de Romero, over a shocking reason: she allegedly did not take his back pain seriously.
The incident took place on May 2 in Houston, where Harris County deputies responded to a property on Texarkana Street after Romero called 911 to report the shooting.
Three children were present in the home when the shooting occurred, but they managed to safely hide when they heard the gunshots.
Romero was detained at the scene and later booked into the Harris County Jail on a murder charge.
