The search for Nancy Guthrie continues, with a self-styled investigator pointing to an alleged post about parasites made by her son-in-law Tommaso Cioni.

Guthrie was reported missing by her family on February 1, and authorities believe the 84-year-old was taken from her home the night before.

Tommaso's alleged post, shared by Jonathan Lee Riches, describes how he let a parasite live in his leg for three months to show his kids the parasite/host relationship.

However, many have questioned the relevance of the post to the kidnapping case, with some pointing out that Tommaso has already been cleared as a suspect.

Despite the speculation, Savannah Guthrie has come out to support her sister and brother-in-law, stating that they both loved Nancy Guthrie a lot.
