Trump departed for Beijing on Tuesday afternoon to meet with Jinping, where they will discuss trade and Iran. He also hailed his ties with Jinping ahead of the trip, saying their relationship is 'fantastic' and that they have 'massive relationships' with China.
The Trump-Jinping China meet is the first since Trump visited in 2017 and will include high-stakes talks, a state banquet, and a tea reception. Trump has promised to ask Jinping to 'open up' China for US businesses to work their magic.
