US President Donald Trump has announced plans to hold an 'America Is Back' rally in Washington, D.C. on June 3, after several artists withdrew from the Freedom 250 concert series due to its perceived political nature.
Trump criticized the 'third-rate artists' who dropped out, saying he wants to be surrounded by 'Happy People, Smart People, Successful People, and People that know how to WIN.'
The President claimed he would deliver a 'major' speech at the rally, which he described as a 'Wild and Beautiful Celebration of America.'
The event follows the withdrawal of several artists, including Martina McBride, Bret Michaels, and Morris Day & The Time, who claimed they were misinformed about the event's true nature.
Trump's rally will feature 'Only Great Patriots invited,' according to his statement on Truth Social.
