US President Donald Trump's physician released a report stating the 79-year-old leader is in 'excellent health' and 'fully fit' to serve as commander in chief.

The report, released by the White House, details Trump's medical exam at Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre, where he underwent a CT scan, heart imaging, cancer screenings, and other preventative assessments carried out by 22 specialists.

Trump weighed in at 238 pounds, up 14 pounds from his April 2025 medical exam, but his doctors concluded that his 'cognitive and physical performance are excellent.'

The report also noted bruising on Trump's hands, explained as 'minor soft tissue irritation related to frequent handshaking,' and said it was 'a common and benign effect of aspirin therapy.'

Among the recommendations was a switch to low-dose aspirin. Trump's doctors also reported 'slight lower leg swelling' but said there was 'improvement from last year.'

He scored 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, the same score reported last year and in 2018. His cholesterol levels have improved significantly with medication, with his total cholesterol coming in at 143, down from 223 in 2018.
