The United States and Iran have agreed to a peace deal, marking an end to military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon.

The deal was announced by Pakistani Prime Minister Shebhaz Sharif, who thanked the US and Iran for finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict.

US President Donald Trump confirmed the deal, saying it included the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts.

The agreement comes after more than three months of war in the Middle East, which began in late February with US-Israeli strikes on Iran.

The deal also includes the removal of the US naval blockade and the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, a vital route for global oil and natural gas supplies.

The official signing ceremony is set to take place on June 19 in Switzerland.
