A leaked 14-point draft US-Iran memorandum reportedly focuses on an immediate ceasefire and de-escalation, but leaves key nuclear issues unresolved, CNN reported.
Tehran, though, says leaked MoU version is ‘inaccurate and incomplete’, as per Tasnim News Agency.
US President Donald Trump said the peace agreement is “not final” and warned that if he doesn’t like it, the US will go back to dropping bombs on Iran.
Tehran has accused Israel of violating the Lebanon ceasefire 84 times since Tehran and Washington signed their memorandum of understanding.
The US and Iran are set to formally sign an interim agreement on June 19, aimed at ending months of US-Israeli war on Iran.
The memorandum of understanding is expected to make way for 60 days of negotiations focused on Iran’s nuclear programme and other outstanding issues.
