A non-profit organization, Center on Conscience & War, has reported that family members of service members and soldiers have expressed opposition to the US war on Iran. The organization's executive director, Mike Prysner, tweeted that phones have been 'ringing off the hook' with concerns over the war.

The non-profit spoke to the spouse of an infantryman in the 31st MEU, who said her husband wants 'nothing to do with this war.' Some Marines in the unit have reportedly declined to agree with the mission, citing a decline in confidence in the Department of War following the Venezuela operation and the Minab school massacre.

The spouse also reported that at least one high-ranking officer in the unit is 'war hungry' and has made repeated comments about the war being a 'Holy War for Armageddon.' Center on Conscience & War describes itself as a non-profit organization that advocates for the rights of conscience and opposes military conscription.

While the organization has received hundreds of calls on its hotline, it has not stated that service members have declined to be deployed. No official comments have been made in the matter yet.
