US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has stated that the US is in talks with India to expand energy cooperation, with the goal of increasing US energy exports to the country.
Rubio made the announcement during a trip to Sweden and India, where he will visit several cities including Kolkata, Agra, Jaipur, and New Delhi.
He described India as a 'great partner' and emphasized the importance of the US-India relationship, including the Quad nations.
Rubio also mentioned that the acting President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, is scheduled to visit India next week, presenting opportunities for cooperation.
