US Senator Lindsey Graham has questioned Pakistan's reliability as a mediator in the US-Iran conflict, citing the country's long-standing animosity towards Israel and its alleged harbouring of Iranian military aircraft.

Graham called on Pakistan to diplomatically recognise Israel through the Abraham Accords, which would establish full diplomatic normalisation with the country.

Pakistan has denied reports of providing safe harbour to Iranian military aircraft, but Graham remains sceptical of the country's trustworthiness.

The US Senator warned of 'severe repercussions' for future relationships if countries refuse to sign the Abraham Accords, which were concluded during the Trump administration.
