Owain Rhys Davies, a 44-year-old Welsh actor known for his roles in Twin Peaks and The OA, has tragically passed away. Davies' career spanned the 2000s, with his most notable appearance being Agent Wilson in David Lynch's 2017 Twin Peaks reboot, where he appeared in three episodes.

He also featured in an episode of The OA and lent his voice to a character in the 2016 sequel Alice Through The Looking Glass, which starred Johnny Depp. The specific cause of Davies' death has not been revealed, but his family stated that he died 'naturally.'

In a statement, Davies' brother Rhodri announced the news via Instagram, accompanied by a photograph of the actor. The caption stated that Owain passed away 'suddenly, naturally, and peacefully.'

The actor's family expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of messages and tributes, saying that the reach of Owain's love, friendship, and generosity was vast. They also acknowledged that Owain was fortunate enough to have more than one family, with extraordinary bonds with his closest friends, colleagues, and loved ones.

Ruth Connell, a star from Supernatural, paid tribute to Davies, saying that he was a genius with a large heart. Davies is survived by his father, Conway, and brother, Rhodri. Their mother had passed away in May 2021.
