Delhi residents are advised to plan their routes carefully on January 27 as traffic restrictions will be in place to facilitate the full dress rehearsal of the Beating Retreat Ceremony at Vijay Chowk and the visit of EU leaders to Rajghat. The Delhi Traffic Police has announced special traffic arrangements from 4 pm to 6 pm, with Vijay Chowk completely closed during this time. Key roads leading to the area, including Raisina Road and Kartavya Path, will be restricted, and traffic will not be allowed beyond certain points on Dara Shikoh Road, Krishna Menon Marg, and Sunehri Masjid. To avoid these restricted areas, commuters are advised to take alternative routes such as Ring Road, Ridge Road, and Aurobindo Marg. Similar traffic restrictions will be in place around Rajghat from 9:15 AM to 12:30 PM, affecting key points such as ITO Chowk, Delhi Gate, and Guru Nanak Chowk. Motorists are urged to follow the instructions of traffic police personnel and plan their journeys in advance to minimize disruptions.
