Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi has warned Pakistan of a strong response after multiple drone sightings near the India-Pakistan border. Singhvi, a senior advocate, expressed concern that the incidents are not coincidental, but a deliberate attempt by Pakistan to provoke India. The warning comes after reports of drones being spotted in Jammu and Kashmir and parts of Rajasthan. In Jaisalmer district, a drone was seen flying over a gas-based thermal power plant near the border, sparking an investigation. The Indian Army has reported two incidents of drone spotting in the Jammu sector, prompting countermeasures. Local residents in Rajouri district have been on high alert after several drones were sighted in recent days. Singhvi's warning follows India's Operation Sindoor, a military operation against terrorists and terror infrastructure in Pakistan in May 2025. India is monitoring the situation closely and is prepared to respond to any further provocation.
