PM Modi Praises Kashi-Tamil Sangamam for Fostering Unity and Cultural Exchange

The fourth edition, which concluded on December 2, 2025, focused on the theme 'Tamil Karkalam - Learn Tamil,' allowing people in Kashi and other parts of the country to learn the beautiful Tamil language. The event has also facilitated people-to-people exchanges, fostering academic and cultural interactions. Thousands of participants, including youngsters, have taken part in the events, showcasing their talent and creativity. The Indian Railways operated special trains to facilitate the journey of participants from Tamil Nadu to Uttar Pradesh, marking the beginning of a memorable experience. The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the people of Kashi and Uttar Pradesh for their warmth and hospitality towards the delegates. He appreciated the efforts of the local administration in ensuring a seamless experience for the guests. The valedictory function of the Kashi-Tamil Sangamam was held in Rameswaram, where the Vice President of India, Thiru CP Radhakrishnan ji, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing India's spiritual greatness and the importance of national integration. The Kashi Tamil Sangamam has delivered meaningful outcomes, strengthening cultural understanding and fostering lasting bonds between parts of the country that share a civilisational ethos. The Prime Minister expressed his commitment to making this platform even more vibrant, furthering the spirit of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.' He extended his best wishes for the festivals marking the beginning of the new year, hoping they continue to inspire national unity through shared heritage and collective participation.
