New Delhi: This year's Republic Day parade will feature a powerful tri-services tableau showcasing India's military might during Operation Sindoor, a four-day operation against terror and military installations in Pakistan and PoK in early May. The 'Operation Sindoor: Victory Through Jointness' tableau will highlight the Indian Navy's maritime dominance, the effectiveness of the Akash air defense system, and the use of Harop loitering munitions. The display will also feature a mock-up of the S-400 system, which played a crucial role in neutralizing the adversary's airborne early-warning platform at a distance of 350 km. The tableau will depict the strike narrative of Operation Sindoor, reflecting India's new national security doctrine of rapid response, controlled escalation, and precision accuracy. The sequence will showcase the Indian Air Force's role, including a Rafale aircraft armed with Scalp missiles executing a surgical strike on terror infrastructure, followed by a Su-30 MKI launching a BrahMos supersonic cruise missile to destroy hardened aircraft shelters. The parade will feature a new phased battle array format, showcasing the military's capabilities in a combat scenario. The tri-services tableau will be one of 30 displays, including 13 bands and 18 marching contingents. The flypast will feature 29 aircraft, including seven fighter jets in a formation called Sindoor, which will depict the Indian Air Force's role during Operation Sindoor. The operation involved a fierce confrontation between India and Pakistan, including fighter jets, missiles, armed drones, and an artillery duel.
