Tamil Nadu's politics may be about to undergo a significant shift, with Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) chief and actor Vijay vowing to break the bipolar dominance of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in the state. At the party's third anniversary celebrations in Chennai, Vijay delivered a 17-minute address, labelling the DMK as a party that promotes 'injustice, anarchy, and mischief', while accusing AIADMK of being a 'corrupt force' subservient to the BJP. Vijay emphasized that the TVK, backed by the people, is the only force that can defeat the DMK. "We are not just a party, we are a people's movement," he said. "The people of Tamil Nadu will come out to vote for us, and we will emerge victorious.
