Kolkata: Kenny Bednarek, the world's second-fastest 200m sprinter, is on a mission to rewrite history at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. As an event ambassador for the Tata Steel World 25K, he's not only focused on winning gold but also breaking records. The American sprinter, who won silver at the 2020 and 2024 Olympics, wants to shave off precious seconds from his timing. "I'm aiming for 19.3 in the 200m or 19.2, and for the 100m, I want to crack 9.72 or 9.69," Bednarek revealed in an exclusive interview. With compatriot Noah Lyles hot on his heels, Bednarek knows he must dig deep to stay on top of his game. "The mental side is just as crucial as the physical side," he emphasized. "You can be in top physical shape, but if your mind isn't right, you won't perform at your best.\
