The Paris St Germain and France forward's impressive season, which saw him score 35 goals and lead PSG to their first Champions League title, earned him the top honor. Bonmati, a stalwart for Barcelona and Spain, dominated the women's competition, claiming her third Ballon d'Or and helping her team win the domestic treble.
