In a resounding display of its high-scoring offense, the No. 23 Georgia Bulldogs cruised to a 103-74 victory over West Georgia on Monday. Blue Cain led the charge with 20 points, making it his second time this season to reach the 20-point mark. Cain's performance was part of a dominant team effort, with the Bulldogs scoring 90 or more points for the ninth time and reaching 100 points for the sixth time this season. Somtochukwu Cyril made a significant impact, recording career highs of 15 points and 15 rebounds, while also blocking four shots. Jeremiah Wilkinson added 19 points to the Bulldogs' total. Shelton Williams-Dryden top-scored for West Georgia with 23 points, but it wasn't enough to stop the Bulldogs' winning streak. The game got off to a strong start for Georgia, with a 7-0 scoring run to begin the match. The Bulldogs maintained a lead of at least seven points until West Georgia closed the gap to five points early in the second quarter. However, Georgia responded with a crucial 15-2 run, securing a double-digit lead that they would maintain for the remainder of the game. The Bulldogs have now improved to 35-0 in home non-conference games under coach Mike White in four seasons. They will next host Long Island on December 29, while West Georgia will face Bellarmine on January 1.
