Cleveland Browns All-Pro pass rusher Myles Garrett is on the cusp of setting a new NFL single-season sack record. With 21 1/2 sacks under his belt, he needs just 1 1/2 more to surpass Michael Strahan's and T.J. Watt's marks. Garrett, who has recorded a sack in eight consecutive games, has his sights set on taking down Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, a player he has previously sacked twice. Allen, known for his arm strength and ability to run with the ball, has been compared to Brett Favre, another quarterback who has faced heavy sack pressure. Garrett's pursuit of the record has been a long time coming, with the pass rusher averaging a sack every 17.3 pass rushes. His conversion rate of 33.6% of pressures into sacks is second only to Watt's 34.6% in 2021. The Bills, however, are not taking Garrett lightly. Left tackle Dion Dawkins has allowed just four sacks this season and has a 7.7% pressure rate allowed, the 10th-lowest among left tackles. Dawkins has vowed to put up a strong fight, saying, "Sometimes you have to play the Grim Reaper. The world sees it, there ain't no hiding from it.
