Tennis sensation Alexander Zverev has been in the spotlight for his on-court success, but his personal life has also drawn significant attention. The 27-year-old German tennis star has faced abuse allegations from two former partners, including a recent settlement in a court case.
In 2020, Zverev was accused of physically abusing his then-partner Brenda Patea, who is also the mother of his daughter. A German court issued a fine of €450,000, which Zverev denied and contested. The case was settled in 2024, with Zverev ordered to pay €200,000.
Zverev has also faced allegations from former tennis player Olya Sharypova, who accused him of abuse in 2020. An independent investigation by the ATP found insufficient evidence to substantiate the allegations.
Despite his troubled past, Zverev is currently in a relationship with German model and television presenter Sophie Thomalla. She has openly expressed her affection for the tennis star and has posted photos of them together on social media.
