Cloudflare Outage Brings Down X, ChatGPT, and Other Popular Websites: What Happened?

Cloudflare, a crucial web services provider, experienced a widespread outage on Tuesday, rendering numerous high-profile websites and services inaccessible. Among those affected were X, ChatGPT, Letterboxd, Facebook, and bet365, as well as tracking website Downdetector.
At 3:48 a.m. PT, Cloudflare released a statement on its system status page, acknowledging the issue and initiating an investigation to determine its cause. The statement read: "Cloudflare is aware of, and investigating an issue which impacts multiple customers: Widespread 500 errors, Cloudflare Dashboard and API also failing...
