Bollywood filmmaker Aditya Dhar's latest release, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is breaking box office records and receiving widespread praise. In a recent conversation, actor Suvinder Vicky revealed how Aditya used abusive words in the script that would not be censored by the CBFC. Suvinder, who played Arjun Rampal's father in the film, admitted that he had never used such abusive words in any of his previous roles and was initially hesitant before the shot.
He recalled Aditya's response to his hesitation, saying, 'Brother, I've only kept those swear words that won't need a beep. Notice this carefully — there isn't a single abusive word in the film that has been beeped out.' Suvinder praised Aditya's research, saying, 'Your research is amazing,' and Aditya responded, 'Sir, it's after such a long career, once your films keep passing through the censor board, you automatically understand what should be there and what shouldn't.'
Dhurandhar: The Revenge stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role, alongside Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor and Sara Arjun in key roles. The film received positive reviews upon release and has so far collected ₹643 crore at the domestic box office, surpassing Baahubali's lifetime collection in just six days, earning over ₹1000 crore worldwide.
