Akshay Kumar: 'Bhooth Bangla is Family-Friendly, Dhurandhar is for Adults'

Akshay Kumar has weighed in on the success of Dhurandhar, saying it's an adult film, while his upcoming release Bhooth Bangla is for kids and families.
Speaking in a recent interview, Kumar explained that the decision to release Bhooth Bangla wasn't influenced by the current trend of action films like Dhurandhar.
'There are different kinds of films being made,' Kumar said. 'Dhurandhar is a great film, I've seen it. This (Bhooth Bangla) is a different film.'
Director Priyadarshan, who reunited with Kumar for Bhooth Bangla after 14 years, added that people enjoy different types of films and that Bhooth Bangla offers something unique.
'People who watch films like Dhurandhar can also enjoy it,' Priyadarshan said.
Bhooth Bangla, which also stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, and Wamiqa Gabbi, is set to arrive in theatres on April 10.
