The film, helmed by Sreeti Mukerji, follows the story of a young woman whose life takes an unpredictable turn. Karan Johar, who launched Alia in Bollywood, reacted to her announcement, saying, 'I'm so proud of you.'
Alia, who is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming film, Alpha, also has Love & War in the pipeline, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The film is produced by Alia and her sister Shaheen under the banner of Eternal Sunshine, in association with Chalkboard Entertainment.
