A heated controversy has erupted in the music industry after music duo Sachet-Parampara accused composer Amaal Mallik of making 'false and baseless' claims about the origin of their hit track Bekhayali from the Kabir Singh soundtrack. In a lengthy Instagram video, Sachet-Parampara alleged that Amaal repeatedly suggested the song's composition resembled an older tune of his, which they firmly denied. The duo claimed that Bekhayali was entirely their original creation, crafted during music sessions with the Kabir Singh team, including actor Shahid Kapoor and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. They produced screenshots of Amaal's messages, which they alleged showed him congratulating them on the song's release and even saying he was 'waiting' for it. Sachet-Parampara also questioned why anyone would favour them as outsiders and pointed out that Amaal had been signed with T-Series since 2015, unlike them. Sachet-Parampara expressed disappointment at Amaal's behavior, recalling that he once praised Bekhayali in person and even said he was waiting for it. They accused Amaal of making media statements without evidence and misleading his fans. They also criticized his tendency to blame the industry, insisting that success is determined by consistent hard work, not insider-outsider narratives. The duo emphasized that all their work is original, including songs like Har Har Mahadev, and warned Amaal against claiming otherwise. They stated that they were prepared to take legal action if necessary and demanded a public apology from Amaal, claiming his accusations had harmed their reputation. Amaal's recent stint on Bigg Boss 19 has also raised eyebrows, with host Salman Khan criticizing his behavior and allegations of bullying fellow contestants. However, the public accusations from Sachet-Parampara remain unaddressed, with Amaal yet to respond to their video or clarify his version of the story.
