Celina Jaitly's brother, Vikrant Jaitly, has refused to contact her, leading the Delhi High Court to dismiss her petition seeking assistance to meet him.

Celina, an Indian actress, had approached the court out of concern for her brother's safety and well-being after he was detained in the United Arab Emirates in September 2024.

However, the court noted that Vikrant had been granted consular access and had declined legal assistance, stating that he was not willing to be represented by any law firm.

Celina had also sought direct communication with her brother, but he declined that request as well.

The court instructed authorities to continue staying in touch with Vikrant and to provide him with any assistance available under the law.
